Happy Christmas!!!

What a wonderful holiday season, dudes! It's been ridiculously busy and I was struggling just to keep up. But I was so stoked to have this many awesome folks ordering nerdity for gifts this holiday!

Some of my new items ended up being hits at shows. I'd meant to actually have these gift sets ready to sell online in October, but Granny's heart troubles took priority over gift planning. So, I've extended the offer until the New Year! :D

Giant pile of Holiday Gift Sets - $36 USD each
These cute gift sets have my Mini Mario Items in Holiday Harmony - meaning at a savings! :D Some of the Sets include:

But I gotta say, the best seller this Holiday Season was one of my NEW DIY Nerdy Cross-Stitch Kits! Can you guess which one?

That's right!
Don't Be Poopy - Beginner Cross-Stitch Kit! - $18 USD
Making tons of these kits reminded me to be less of a poo when I was stuck crocheting all night. And at my holiday craft shows that I did after sleepless nights. And hanging out at my retail gig for..ev...errrr!

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all a Happy Holiday season and I hope that you're all doing awesome things with rad people!

Take care & remember to lay off being poopy. ;D

New Ideas, New Products

One of the things I like best about being an owner of a crafting micro-business is that I can take time to grow at my own pace. Not necessarily all the time, mind you. There are things such as custom order & craft show deadlines that can take time away from my creative spark. However, when I start coming up with new ideas, there's little I can do these days before they find a way to creep out.

Above is a sneak peek at my new Convo Calculator. I've decided to start it when my cousins are coming into town and I should be cleaning. Always a good idea, right?

These ideas help keep our minds fresh & keep our brands evolving. I've found that reading through the Etsy Success emails & Storque blog posts have helped me to keep asking myself questions about which way I want to take nerd JERK.

There are so many ways I'd love to go and so many things I'd love to do.

So, custom orders & craft shows aside, I just wanted to let people know that I'm still alive & kicking. I'm planning some craft shows of my own, working on comics, and coming up with a few new collections for the Holiday Season.

Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for developments in this area. And I'll make sure to keep you updated.

I can share that I've come up with a Holiday Season Mission Statement for nerd JERK:

Giving the Gift of Awesome - One Geek at a Time.

If you've been following the Etsy Success Holiday Boot Camp series, you'll know it's a real challenge to try to get ready for the Holiday Season. Feel free to share how you're preparing your shop for the Holidays.
